Pinnacle Studio 18 - Ultimate | Overview
 
The boxed edition of Pinnacle Studio 18 Ultimate Video Editing Software for Windows improves upon version 17 by adding native support for 64-bit processor architecture and - unique to the Ultimate edition - can work with 4K content, including the XAVC S codec. An enhanced feature in version 18 of note is Live Screen Capture, which lets you record a video of whatever is showing on your computer's screen, complete with audio from the mic input. On top of this, you can work with stereoscopic 3D footage, edit unlimited tracks, and add pizzazz with over 700 presets plus 55 plugins from NewBlue. So your video will sound as good as it looks, Pinnacle have included 17 royalty-free audio tracks from Triple Scoop Music, and iZotope Music & Speech Cleaner is included to help you further enhance your audio. Once done editing, you can share your creations to Blu-ray, upload to social media websites, or export for playback on a range of devices.

64-Bit Performance
64-bit support means Pinnacle can take advantage of more RAM and perform many computation more quickly than is possible with 32-bit. A 64-bit version of Windows is required to take advantage of this feature
 
XAVC S Support for 4K and HD
You can now import and edit in XAVC S, an MP4-AVC/H.264 codec that is being used in an increasing number of camcorders and photo cameras that shoot video. Pinnacle Studio Ultimate supports XAVC S in resolutions up to UltraHD 4K (3840 x 2160)
 
Enhanced: Live Screen Capture
Record directly from your screen, capturing both system audio and microphone sound. For version 18, Pinnacle has simplified the process of bringing your captured files to the main timeline to use in movies, presentation, and training videos
